Dear friends,

The day is fast approaching. All the preparations are in order, the food is ready to be cooked and served, the dancers are ready to perform we have lots of really nice auction items in a value range to fit every budget and I have my report on my latest trip to Russia ready on PowerPoint to share with you. Now, we just have to sell all the rest of the tickets:-)

What am I talking about? Why, Children of Sosnovaya Street's first annual Vecherinka and Silent Auction, of course!

What's that, you ask?

A vecherinka is an evening party and a silent auction is where tons of goodies are spread out on a table with tally sheets where you can write your bid and visit with friends at the same time.

Please join us for this fun evening to celebrate all the good news from my latest trip to visit our young friends in Russia, to celebrate the generosity of our faithful friends and donors and to welcome new friends and volunteers here at home.

Take a look at our auction catalogue to see many of the wonderful gifts our friends have donated - and keep checking because new items are being added all the time. If you can't make it to the auction, but you see something in the catalogue that you'd really like to have, let us know and we can arrange a proxy bid for you. Also, please consider making a donation of cash or an auction item (donation form) whether or not you can attend. Please contact us and we can help you help us.
